Our Gastroenterology include Dr Anups de Silva & Dr Aamir Saleem
Dr Anups de Silva trained at University College London, qualifying in 1993 with Honours, winning several awards and scholarships including the Atchison Prize for Greatest Overall Proficiency in his year. His specialist training was carried out in London, including at the Royal London Hospital and Royal Free Hospital. He was awarded the Leslie Parrott Research Grant from Crohn’s and Colitis UK for his research into aspects of inflammatory bowel diseases, whilst based at the Digestive Diseases Research Centre at Queen Mary, University of London.
Dr Aamir Saleem is a fully trained and accredited gastroenterologist from the Royal College of Physicians in the Republic of Ireland . He has served as a medical lecturer at the Trinity College University of Dublin. He has accomplished MD in gastric polyps at the Trinity Centre for Health Sciences Adelaide and Meath Hospital Dublin.
He has presented and published widely on H pylori, IBD and Coeliac disease and has also been awarded multiple prizes.
